Meet KZ-407 "Kasniy", cyborg of the Denelfrenti 1st GenMod Infantry. Fleeing an ambush, a ship carrying a company of the Denelfrenti 1st folded space to a distant, unaffiliated world. Now far from the wars where they ply their trade, the Denelfrenti have a chance to try and live normal lives. Stranded in the decaying city of Ragsagal, KZ-407 and the rest of his company have lived long enough to see many changes, both in themselves and the culture around them; not all of it for the better.
