Following scandal and civil war, Antigone is one of the only two surviving members of the House of Oedipus. And to top it all off, a decree from the new king: anyone who attempts to give her late brother a proper burial will be put to death. With stakes like that, anyone would abandon him. The problem is that Antigone isn't anyone. (An adaptation of the Ancient Greek tragedy of Antigone as written by Sophocles. No knowledge of the original play is needed.)
