A Tree Is Just a Matchstick to Giants

This is a short story about how I view death. When I see this tree, I think of death; when I think about death, I think about you. I wonder how many lives it will nourish after it eventually dies. I think about how we all live on the deceased. Or perhaps a tree this large will never die? It feels surreal for something so immense to just... die. But, then again, a tree is just a matchstick to giants.
