The story develops as the malicious archangel plots to overthrow heaven into chaos and therefore rise above all creations, becoming the sole being. The knowing-all omnipotent "father" or "god" finds out and not seeing his plans as a threat and also having to deal with the creation of humanity, decides to bless his second in command Michael with the power to cast out the archangel plotting evil.
