Arkan was born in Iraq to a poor family. Despite their difficult circumstances, he enjoyed a happy childhood as the only son of his loving parents, until a tragic accident claimed their lives, leaving him completely alone. He moved to his uncle's house in Baghdad, where he pursued his passion relentlessly. His passion ultimately led to his death, but this was not the end, as he awoke in another world.
