Eren's village is wiped out by a dark cult seeking human sacrifices for a forbidden ritual. Among the victims was Lira, a girl he secretly loved. When Eren finds the Blackthorn Grimoire in the ruins, he uses it to bring Lira’s soul back — but her body is gone, and her spirit is now bound to him, trapped between life and death. Now, Eren journeys across a nightmare world of corrupted mages, eldritch creatures, and cults, hunting for a way to restore Lira and destroy the cult. But each time he uses the grimoire’s dark spells, he inches closer to madness — and Lira’s fading soul begs him to stop before he loses himself.
