Valentina is a part-time chef at her local seaside restaurant. When the restaurant launches a new seafood menu and welcomes a talented professional chef from Paris, business begins to thrive. But everything changes when one of the fish deliveries includes a mysterious squid with the power to shapeshift. After accidentally taking the squid home, Valentina discovers it is actually a magical squid from an underwater colony who was captured by mistake, fearing it could sink her home town.
