Carina Keel is an FBI agent and a witch. Unsettlingly perceptive, she sees patterns others miss, making her an outsider at the bureau. Her only ally is Jon Canopus, her late father’s former partner, bound by an old promise. When a woman is found frozen in the snow, dragged from her farmhouse by something unknown, Keel and Canopus are sent to investigate.
