Cavatappi is a half human, half demon boy just trying to survive the harsh winters in the mystical, yet dangerous forests where he lives. While he may not always have the brightest ideas, he follows his heart. While scrounging for food one bitter cold night he comes across a young boy named Asher in desperate need of help. Asher suffers from a dreadful lung infection he's had his entire life, while he puts on a strong face, he has no idea his days are numbered.
