On her first day of high school, a shy girl who loves bugs goes for a walk in the woods with her friends. After getting separated while looking for her lost sketchbook, she discovers a strange circus hidden deep in the forest. With her phone dead and nowhere else to go, she spends the night in a spare RV. But when she wakes up, the circus is eight hours away from her hometow and she has no idea how she got there.
