My mother mistreated me because I reminded her of my father. She often took her anger out on me, and I grew used to her cold, demanding and sharp harsh words. It's felt like a failure when it comes to love. The people who came into my life seemed to only want me for my wealth, my appearance, or the things they could gain from me. They loved what I had, but not who I truly was. They never cared to see my heart, my feelings, or the person I am. Not until when my mother remarried again.
