After a lifetime of isolation, Puppy finally gets the life she thought she wanted. And suddenly she has to deal with everything she spent years missing: jealousy, envy, shame, resentment, insecurity, obsession, loneliness, regret, and the ugly need to be loved. It's wonderful. It's humiliating. It's unbearable. As she falls deeper into her new life and relationship, Puppy has to figure out who she is, and why being happy can hurt so much.
