In the first several days of WW3, Magen Arcain, a former aeronautical engineer joined the army and fights to survive. Though he sent his parents and sisters to New Zealand for safety, he remains on Purle Island, a stratocracy Southeast Asian state, for active military service. After a coastal explosion during the battle against the forces of Dragel Island, Magen was listed among the casualties... Or did that certain catastrophe just become a jammed gun with one live round remaining?
