In the near future, mysterious objects have appeared, granting unknown powers and abilities to those who have them. These objects are known as "Cores". The story follows Xavier Cheng, granted with a Core by his father, but with no idea why his father even gave it to him. What are Cores? Why did his father give him one? Xavier sets out on an unexpected journey to find some answers.
