As a child I believed that when my pets passed away their souls would live on somewhere else even though their bodies remained here on Earth. So based on my childhood thoughts I made this comic about my family's pet gold fish, who passed away. I wanted this comic to look whimsical and dream-like, but also symbolic in some sense. Death comes but the memories live on.
