At just 19 years old, Brooke has already had to sacrifice most of her teenage years to raise her 11-year-old sister Jessie, while working as a tattoo artist at blackbird Inc. She keeps her world small, believing there’s no room for love. Everything changes when Emery, a kindhearted 19 year old volunteer at Jessie’s after school art club.
