Jen and Maria are best friends. Everything is amazing! They have their own little queer friend group in which they can all be themselves. Except Jen has some romantic feelings that she knows is unrequited, and Maria is dealing with her own inner conflict surrounding familial/religious acceptance and her identity. Teenagedom is a wild ride, but they can make it through a little easier with the support of their friendships.
