Mekera is the only person in the world who can stop the Umbranks from slipping through the cracks. Jamie, the loving partner that she is, drags herself along for the ride, much to Mekera's endless stress. As much fun as it is to save the world with their girlfriend, Mekera only wishes that they could leave the interdimensional nonsense in the past. Life would be so much easier if the couple could just drop into a simple life of domesticity, but it always seems that fate has other plans.
