Family trees start and connect in many ways. Rather, you’re blood related, either by marriage or by friendship. Tedo Laguna, a black-latino who usually doesn’t fit in with the crowd because of his binary looks and overly enthusiastic persona, meets Zaynab, a.k.a. Zay Ngugi, at their family wedding as one of Tedo’s uncles marries Zay’s aunt. Even though Zay didn’t ever make the friendship official, The two of them try their best through life’s struggles.
