Killing Rin is about a 13 year old boy, Rin, who is quite intelligent and aware, yet lacks any motive to do anything with his life. With his 14th birthday comes his new powers, which excites his parents but doesn't phase Rin. His parents are semi-famous Pro-"Collectors" and urge Rin to become one himself, although he wishes these powers never existed in the first place.
