Earth seems no longer a place for human beings, and Mars isn't yet. Suspended in a limbo of uncertainties and possibilities, we meet a cosmonaut who has no more motive nor will to fly and love, a synthetic girl yearning for a purpose in life, an archaeologist caught up in a tangle of conspiracies while searching for the truth.
