After dying in a fire while trying to save her dog, Lisedi Alexander is taken by a mysterious angel to an Earth-like world to atone for her sins and earn a place in Heaven. She must complete three missions, usually given through a white letter, but hers is black, something never seen before. The black letter draws the attention of a dangerous criminal named Jankeer, who happens to be someone who has held a grudge against her for centuries.
