Milbo is a wizard who is isolated and does not like talking to anyone else. Until his life is flipped upside down when the king shows up. Confronting him with all of his unpaid tax. He is then requested to go on a quest for an artefact to pay for all of his known debt. Unknown to him that this journey will force him meet new people and see things that will make him grow more than he has in all of his immortal life.
