The supernatural is nothing new in the country of Escana. It is quite common to have a vampire as a ancient history teacher, mermaids as swim instructors, satyrs as bartenders, and fairies as baristas at local coffee shops. That is until a ragtag group of friends find that their ordinary lives of part time jobs and college classes can turn into murder investigations and black magic. And they discover that there is a sinister side to the word "supernatural".
