"Mother knows best" is a story set between 1945 and 1968, following a young boy growing up as he endures the horrors of his reality, from the deaths of others in his own home to the unyielding and critical eyes of his mother. She is always watching, a voice behind him, never quite contemptuous. Overwhelmed by the conflicts at home that always end with a threat, he begins questioning his mother's authority over him...And with time comes responsiblites and secrets to unveil.
