Creatures known as Sages, are the hidden force that shape nature. In an ancient clash with humanity, hunters and scholars have joined to end the Sages they staunchly deem a threat. A young scholar hides a dangerous secret-her closest ally is one of those threats. As she involves herself in the conflict, the two companions encounter creatures, items and lands from mythos around the world while hoping for a glimmer of harmony.
