Samuel Stevens finds it hard enough to look out for himself, as a young, burnt out detective with the NYPD. But he’s thrust into a whole new world when he is assigned a new case and teams up with Sawyer Larson: Private Investigator, disenchanted, and new in town. Soon they both have stakes in the game, and Samuel finds it harder to untangle himself from his case, and from Sawyer.
