Dexter is an adventurer trying to find an elf from an old legend so they can kill the king. Cas is the elf from the old legend, hiding from the government. The government was trying to find Cas a hundred years ago. However, Cas’s perception of time has had them in hiding for far longer than they needed to be. Dexter finds Cas and brings them out of hiding, showing them how to love for the first time in a thousand years.
