We exist in a Steven Universe AU, Jasper and Lapis have abandoned their purposes bound to them by their Homeworld and found freedom on Earth, which happens to be the site of Pink Diamond's first colony. As they discover the beauty and cruelness of Earth's expansive ecosystems, they realize the destruction Gems cause. The Rebl Gems become, what they think, are the remaining gems on Earth, but are they really?
