Tim Redding is a blackbird, and all he and his brother ever wanted since childhood was to become agents of the Anti-Predation Agency, an organisation that fights to stop predator terrorism in Great Britain. But when tragedy strikes at the wings of Long Sleeves Darren, leader of The Hawk Horrors, he lets fear and anger consume him, until one day he must overcome his past to lead a new group in securing the future of the songbirds of his country, and find what he needs himself.
