Yes, I know. Danu/ Danann is the same word in irish gaelic, just two grammatically inflected versions of the same (proper) noun. 'Thuata Dé Danann' more or less means 'The people of Danu' or 'Danu's people'. Here, though, I use it a tiny bit different. Danu is the goddess. Danann is the circle (which will be shown later on).
