An alien named Mango gets hit by a car after crashing onto Earth to take refuge from his planet. Mango gets seriously hurt and finds help in a human named Mae, the two get closer while Mango makes friends. Some good some bad. While doing so, his planet and the FBI are constantly hunting them down, creating a tense and fearful atmosphere.
