Devastated after losing her eyesight, the once-famous painter, Haru, decides to end it all. As her neighbour's piano playing leaks into her walls, each note melting away her disordered thoughts, Haru is prompted to go into the apartment hallway, where the notes are rich and sweet. Her neighbour later discovers her collapsed in front of his door.
