One brave boy with a hero complex befriends a reserved cheeky boy with weird red marks underneath his eyes. They go on an adventure to fight a mysterious monster while themselves being chased by hunters. Their journey usually features touches of sarcasm, hugs, forgetting where they were going, gay panic, pinecones, and accidental slaughter. The last one though is connected to the title.
