I knew one man who REALLY loved Nature. I mean really LOOOOVED nature. When he was little, he brought bugs and snakes home in his pockets. After college he became the greatest science teacher in the world: he didn’t teach in a school, his students were not only children. Adults and kids would smile and gasp to hold a giant Madagascar hissing cockroach; to smell the rare and disgusting corpse flower; to pet a sweet tarantula named Rosie, or to find slimey lampreys building nests in the stream.
