In a surreal, fantasy version of Rio de Janeiro circa 2004, there’s a guy—the only guy left in the city (at least, according to all those classic stereotypes: “Isn’t Rio just full of women?”). Out of nowhere, he scores a golden ticket to a stereotypical paradise of highways and convertibles: Los Angeles. There, he falls madly in love… with a Porsche. They get married, he joins the army, loses his legs, and gets shiny new ones implanted. Yada yada, you know—just your classic fever-dream journey.
