This series tells story of Nhat Huyen, a young emperor who fell in love with a girl he's not supposed to. She's the daughter of an former rebel against the royal court. However, he did not let the mandarins or his family decide who he wanted to marry. So he did quite a scandalous matter with his beloved girl to make her the empress consort. The story was inspired by historical figures, but all characters and events were fictional. Enjoy!
