A party of two rookie adventurers discovers a book in an abandoned monastery while on the job, filled with pages of ancient knowledge of lost artifacts and forgotten lands. To their dismiss, most of the pages are written in various tongues that are either extremely uncommon or have been extinct for thousands of years. The two decided to go out far from their hometown, Saltreach Shores, to find a translator to discover what lies behind the pages.
