I'll be getting the chicks this weekend from my mom so it's really important to get the brooder set up until they are big enough to go outside. Usually you don't need to worry about making the brooder predator proof if you have it inside, but Jax is trouble. (Also the brooder is kept in a shut room the cats will not be allowed in without supervision.)
