A world where every kingdom has a patron god that gives powerful blessings in exchange of sacrifices. Here giving human's lives to the gods is seen as normal and even desired by society, but not everyone likes it. After being rejected by one of the gods a girl is cursed to wander the world under an unbearable pain, hated by her fellow people. After many years, longer than a human life, she returns with a burning desire for vengeance.
