12 year old Rowan is startled when one day his 24-year old self suddenly appears from the future. Both Rowans are struggling to grasp the situation when they are confronted by members of a long-extinct species and civilization, who have tasked themselves with guarding the timeline since it brought their own demise. They offer Rowan and his future self two options: give up the time travel technology, or join them in stopping others who discover time travel and alter the timeline.
