What is the meaning of life? Is an inter-dimensional being even qualified to answer this question? Charlie "Punk" Bishop and his family are by no means an ordinary nuclear family. But one question remains un-answered to Punk from the very start, what are they? Where did they come from? Why does his mother keep so many secrets and why has he lived so long but remembered so little? Maybe some answers are much too hard to swallow. Will he find out his family's true nature, or will it tear him up?
