The heavens were overpopulated and thus love was forbidden, but it was too late, war broke out. To two gods, a cruel mercy was given: Aedif would be sealed in a barrier fated never to make contact with Astella again. Ashes of fallen gods would rain upon the barrier and life would eventually rise from them and make the barrier their home, "Libum".
