Finnar and his grandfather, Hare, are on an expedition in the Snowy mountains. A snowstorm starts and they have to camp in a cave to shelter themselves. Hare is telling a fairytale, but he is interrupted by the roar of an bear-like creature. Trying to find a way out, they stumble upon a cave in which they find a mysterious sleeping girl.
