In a world where males are rare and fertility is fading, young men are cast out to survive alone and build shelters with women. Kaiyo is strong, but often misses what others see as obvious. When he approaches shelters and asks to stay, he’s always turned away—men aren’t welcome. Now, with nowhere left to go, Kaiyo knows one thing: He can’t afford to be rejected again. So he comes up with a plan to finally get what he wants.
